The controller for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is 1085 Studio, Zurich, Switzerland. This privacy policy describes which data is processed when you visit 1085.studio, for what purpose and on which legal basis. Processing is limited to what is necessary to operate the website and – with your explicit consent – to pseudonymised audience measurement. We do not sell data and do not carry out profiling for advertising.
The website is hosted by a provider based in Switzerland/the EU. When you access the site, the server automatically records the following in log files: IP address, date and time, requested URL, amount of data transferred, HTTP status code, referrer URL, browser type and version, and the operating system. This data is kept for a maximum of 30 days for security and stability purposes and is not combined with other data sources. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 31 FADP, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS) throughout, which you can recognise by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar. Data you send to us is therefore not readable by third parties during transmission.
We use cookies in two categories. Necessary cookies are required without consent to ensure the website works. All other cookies are only set after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time via "Cookies" in the footer.

To manage your consent we use the open-source library
vanilla-cookieconsent. It is served from our own server, so no data is transmitted to third
parties when the banner loads.
The banner itself does not set any tracking cookies; the cc_cookie is stored
exclusively first-party on 1085.studio and only contains the status of your choice.
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited
(Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; for data transfers to the USA: Google LLC). Google
Analytics uses cookies (_ga,
_ga_7N1G680MQC) to analyse the use of the website in a pseudonymised form.
IP addresses are shortened before being stored (IP anonymisation), and advertising features such as
Google Signals and Ad Personalization are disabled.
In particular, the following is transmitted: device information (browser, operating system, screen size), approximate location (country/region), referrer, pages visited and time spent. Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; under the FADP: explicit consent). You can withdraw it at any time by switching off the analytics category under "Cookies" in the footer. When you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are removed automatically.

For performance reasons the website loads certain libraries from external content delivery networks. The 3D library Three.js (home page and 404 page) is loaded from the Cloudflare CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). The library for Web Vitals measurement is loaded from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), but only after you have consented to Google Analytics (see section 7). When these resources are requested, your IP address is technically transmitted to the servers of the CDN providers. These CDNs do not set cookies or personal identifiers on 1085.studio. Legal basis: legitimate interest in fast, stable page loading (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or for Web Vitals measurement your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The website contains links to external offers (e.g. Instagram, websites of our clients). We have no influence on the content or data processing of these third-party sites. The privacy terms of the linked providers apply in each case. In particular, clicking an Instagram link takes you to a platform operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which uses its own cookies and tracking mechanisms.
If you send us an email (e.g. to hello@1085.studio), the data you provide (email address, content, and name if applicable) is processed solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. It is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply. Legal basis: steps taken prior to entering into a contract or contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.

Personal data is only kept for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. The specific retention period of each cookie is shown in the table in section 5.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the legal situation or our technical processes change. The current version is available at 1085.studio/en/legal. The version published at the time of your visit applies.

Liability claims arising from the use or non-use of this website are excluded, to the extent permitted by law. We reserve the right to change or remove content without prior notice.
